Yep! You read that right. Mine and Ash’s face were broadcast, for the time, on the Internet. Pretty wild!
I can tell you it wasn’t planned at all. In fact, had it been planned, I would have worn something a little cuter, but lesson learned: always be dressed like you could be the co-host of a star Internet show.
Usually, I’m pretty calm when we’re talking to the porn stars, but I was actually really nervous the whole time, which is evident in the video. I keep scratching myself and fidgeting. It wasn’t really official that I was co-hosting either. It was more like Ash and I showed up at the right place at the right time. Pete and Alyss let us in the trailer and there we stayed during the show. So, even though I had questions for Jayla, I constantly felt like I might overstep my bounds by jumping in. So I was pretty quite the whole time, which isn’t normally my style.
Detroit is known for many things that exemplify the hustler’s spirit. When you have the highest rate of unemployment in the country you must find non-traditional ways to make funds. The true definition of hustling is to make nothing out of something. When hustling is describe most people think of terms like rolling as describe vividly in the Detroit documentary produced by Al Profit or the realities measured in the street classic Five K One filmed by Donny Armstrong. Another avenue of hustling not talked about is party or event promotions. Everyday of the week in a city that supposed to have been hit the hardest by the recession has a party or event. For hip-hop heads the Bullfrog, the Ritz or Detroit Pub is your destination. For the clubbers Lot 1210, Onyx & Kingdom and slew of others dictate your fun for that particular night.
