Adult star Katie Kox received three big nominations for the upcoming UrbanX Awards, and that’s just the beginning of big things that are happening for the petite yet busty superstar. Katie received nominations for Best Interracial Star, Best Interracial Personal Website, and Best Internet Studio Site for her own network, Katie Kox’s Dirty Hard Drive.
“I am so thrilled! Obviously I love my job or I wouldn’t be doing it,” Katie adds, “But receiving these kinds of accolades make me blush, and make strive to be even better for the fans! There are there very few women in this industry that own their own network and for such a young project to be recognized is awesome.”

24-year old Kox is one of the very few starlets in adult that have her own network, above and beyond her own site. Katie Kox’s Dirty Hard Drive is home to sites such as Marcus London’s TheSquirtInstructor.com, Richard Mann’s KingofInterracial.com, DirtySlutsAndStuds.com, as well her personal site, KatieKox.com.

“These nominations couldn’t have come at a better time as we are launching urbanXaward 2010 two time nominee, Jayla Starr’s personal site JaylaStarr.com on the network this month,” Kox explains. “Im just so excited to see what the upcoming year brings as we have so much planned and can’t wait to keep building on what we have accomplished so far.”

I’ve been in the biz two years now and this is the 1st time I’ve been nominated for an award. Unlike most of the porn chicks I don’t shoot too many dvds because of some scarring on my legs. Despite the industry ignoring me I pushed forward. Fuck em! lol I truly believe that if I continue to run my site and interact with my fans, the industry will have no choice but to take notice. Yep! You read that right. Mine and Ash’s face were broadcast, for the time, on the Internet. Pretty wild!

I can tell you it wasn’t planned at all. In fact, had it been planned, I would have worn something a little cuter, but lesson learned: always be dressed like you could be the co-host of a  star Internet show.

Usually, I’m pretty calm when we’re talking to the porn stars, but I was actually really nervous the whole time, which is evident in the video. I keep scratching myself and fidgeting. It wasn’t really official that I was co-hosting either. It was more like Ash and I showed up at the right place at the right time. Pete and Alyss let us in the trailer and there we stayed during the show. So, even though I had questions for Jayla, I constantly felt like I might overstep my bounds by jumping in. So I was pretty quite the whole time, which isn’t normally my style.
